Habitat
Plant terrestrial, grows in wet montane forest at an altitud of around 4500 feet.
Observations
Distinguished by the large cane like plant that can attain upto 12 feet,it grows supported to the adjacent plants and trees
the large brilliant magenta flowers grow at the top of the plant.

In the Southern Hemisphere April through May
