Habitat
Plant terrestrial,grows in steep enbankments in grassy slopes at about10800 feet.
Observations
Distinguished from O. aureum by the lack of a callus at the apex of the claw of the lip, and because the flowers are a more dark yellow-orange.

In the southern Hemisphere throughout the year.
