Habitat
Plant terrestrial, grows in clay rocky slopes in wet montane forest at an altitud of around 6000 to 8000 feet.
Observations
Distinguished by the very long canes, the branched inflorescences and the intence redish-brown flowers.
Flowering season
In the Southern Hemisphere during March to May.
