Habitat
Plant terrestrial, grows in fully exposed open grassy slopes in wet montane forest at an altitud of around 4000 and 6000 feet.
Observations
Distinguished by the long petals that can attain up to 65cm. when fully grown.
Flowering season
In the Southern Hemisphere normally during September to December, this plant was photographed in April.
