Habitat
Plant terrestrial, grows in wet montane forest at an altitude of 4500 feet.
Observations
Same species as found in Machu Picchu, but differs in colour, being light violet
while in Machu Picchu is rather red and bigger.
Flowering season
In the Southern Hemisphere during March to May.
