The pictures shown here, belong to a Habenaria plant found growing
in the water near the shore amid gras in an oxbow lake in a very remote part of the "
Las Piedras" river at an altitude of 400 meters.
The flowers are large about 6cm. in width and the spur is long and slender 13cm. in length
I would like to hear any comments from anyone that might have an idea
what species it is. It has been now identified as Habenaria sartor.
